During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla at the Red Sea International Film Festival, Shraddha discussed her admiration for Laapataa Ladies. She expressed how thrilled she was to see such films getting the attention they deserve, saying, "A film like Laapataa Ladies, which I have loved, is so amazing to see because good films are finally getting their due and appreciation."
Kapoor emphasized her joy in watching films with quality and authenticity being celebrated in the way they should be. When asked about the film's Oscar campaign, she reflected on the importance of recognition in setting a standard for others in the industry. "I feel any film that gets its due and recognition is a great feeling, and it sets a benchmark," she said. "It inspires others to stay true to their craft."
The actress, who has been in the film industry for over a decade, also mentioned how the praise for Laapataa Ladies will motivate filmmakers and actors to focus on producing quality work. She added, "People will realize that focusing on doing good work or making good films is what matters. If I do that, people will watch."
